RUNNING A PREP DAY
Extract from interview with former WDP EWNI President, Carole Bourne
Our current prep day organisers do a fantastic creative and inspiring job making their days such a success. If there isn’t a prep day near you and you are considering hosting one, please contact Lana at the Tunbridge Wells office and ask to be put in touch with one of our fieldwork coordinators.
PREP DAYS FOR 2026-27 HAVE BEGUN

Commencing with a wonderful day in Preston our prep days are now in full swing – what a beautiful display of artefacts!

Cutting the cake at a fabulous day in Stapleford, Nottingham. Interesting discussions about Challenge 100 and a great Bible study.
WDP EWNI President, Louise doing the honours! A minor ‘challenge’ this morning did not deter an inspiring event in Taunton.
A well attended, enjoyable and engaging day in Manchester – beautiful displays and fabulous celebration cakes and Italian biscuits.
Another amazing event in Ripon – what a clever and effective way of creating coloured candles to celebrate the WDP regions.
The message on the bunting says ‘WDP Happy 100’ – a great message from an inspiring, colourful and enjoyable day in Liverpool.

Folkestone

Market Harborough

Thame
A busy Saturday across the UK for our NC and prep day organisers with events in Folkestone, Market Harborough, Thame and Belfast. Lots of interesting questions raised, creative approaches to displays and really great to see the Braille version of the service in use!
What a fantastic and joyful day in Bristol. Louise shown giving a meaningful presentation, but also… we love the catctuses!
