World Day of Prayer

I made you wonderful

Have you ever…

Have you ever…

Have you ever considered that Faith is like elastic – only working when s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d?

This year’s theme for the Day of Prayer is “Rise, take your mat and walk”.

Jesus asked the man at the well, ‘Do you want to be well? How pertinent is that in these Covid-filled times? In another place Jesus asked a blind man, ‘What do you want me to do for you?’ This guy had no doubt what he wanted. He didn’t go into a rigmarole about why he wasn’t already healed – he just SPOKE OUT what was in his heart. Luke 18:41 ‘Lord, grant that I may receive my sight’. Jesus told him, ‘RECEIVE your sight, YOUR FAITH has saved you’. Other translations say, ‘your faith has healed you’, ‘your faith has made you well’, ‘your faith has made you whole’.

Hebrews 4:16 states we can ‘come BOLDLY (with confidence) to the Throne of Grace that we may obtain mercy and HELP IN TIME OF NEED.’ Perhaps now is a good time to take God at His Word and PRAY BIG. He said, ‘open your mouth WIDE and I will fill it’ Ps.81:10. Matt.7:11′ says ‘how much more will your Father Who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him?’ ‘IF YOU remain in Me AND My Words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire and it shall be done for you.’ Matt.15:7

I’m pretty sure these verses will lead you into your own conversations with God. Let us come boldly for He is calling us – ‘Adam, where are you?’

Have a look and listen to this beautiful video of a little girl and her daddy singing a disarmingly simple song’… I believe it will help you in your prayers.
