Heavenly Father, who has washed us with your baptism in the Water of Life,
remembering your compassion we turn once more to you to be refreshed.

Let your Spirit flow into the desert places of our lives and communities
bringing peace where there is conflict;
bringing love where there is hatred;
bringing joy where there is sadness;
bringing healing where there is sickness or disease
and reconciliation where there is distrust. Amen
