World Day of Prayer

Rise! Take Your Mat and Walk

6th March 2020 - Zimbabwe

Message from the Chair

Hello Zimbabwe

It was a pleasure recently to welcome about 100 enthusiastic women to London to introduce them to Zimbabwe and to the World Day of Prayer service for 2020. These ladies will be organising the 60 preparation days and half-days that will be happening throughout our three countries from September onwards. You can use our interactive tool to find those that are nearest and most convenient for you to get to.

We were shocked and saddened to learn how difficult life is for ordinary Zimbabwean women and their families at present. All the hopes that the economy of the country would be boosted by the removal of President Mugabe have been dashed. The situation has been made even worse by a drought which has meant that food and now water are in short supply.

Once again we find that the country we shall be concentrating our thoughts on for the next 12 months is one that is very much in need of our prayerful support.

Please pray for Zimbabwe.
