Pioneers: Healthy Births project

In 2024, thanks to the amazing generosity of those who attend the WDP EWNI services, our National Committee were pleased to be able to award a grant to Pioneers’ ‘Healthy Births for Maasai Mums in Tanzania’ project. Mark from Pioneers tells us that many lives will be saved amongst the Maasai people, as the death rate amongst mums and babies reduces with every doctor who is trained to deal with delivery and perinatal emergencies.
